Choosing Beipu devices: first-time buyers edition (v2)
Beipu devices advice for Greece, covering legal status, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
Most Greece buyers start with a well-known brand name and then discover that fit and coil availability matter far more. Airflow control on the Hcigar Akso is adjustable enough to move from a warm, restrained draw to something far more open without removing the tank.

Airflow control on the Hcigar Akso is adjustable enough to move from a warm, restrained draw to something far more open without removing the tank. Vapour production is more than adequate at 200, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying. Materials are unremarkable on paper and feel reassuringly solid in the hand, with no flex in the body at all.
We would pair the Hcigar Akso with a 35:65 PG/VG liquid, which is where the balance between throat hit and cloud density sits most comfortably. Replacement coils are widely available, and the 2.0 Ω regular coil is the sensible default to keep in stock. The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own.
Delivery across Greece is typically two to four working days with tracked dispatch, and returns are straightforward within the standard window. The build quality on Hcigar Akso is a step above most of what sits in the same price bracket, and the finish resists the chipping that usually shows after a few months of pocket carry. Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal.
If you take one thing from this page, make it the coil compatibility check. A device that needs a coil you cannot source locally becomes an expensive ornament within a month. The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 35:65 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly. Pricing in Greece shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current EUR rates rather than a fixed list price.
For first-time buyers, the learning curve is shorter than the specification list suggests, and daily use is straightforward from the first charge. Expect roughly 1667 full puffs from a charge at 10 mg/ml, based on average session length in our testing. The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 35:65 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Classic Menthol: cool, sharp, described as clean peppermint with consistent coolness. On a 35:65 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 2.0 Ω regular mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Greece
Availability in Greece is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 2.0 Ω regular and the Type-C fast charge are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 thread matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and EUR rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
Take the time to get it right the first time; the difference shows up over months of use rather than days.
